Brooke Marynak is a supply chain and strategic sourcing professional whose career has been defined by analytical thinking, collaboration, and a passion for delivering measurable business results. Through her work in global sourcing and procurement, she has developed expertise in supplier management, contract negotiations, and strategic cost optimization. After she earned her BS in Supply Chain and Information Management from Penn State University, Brooke Marynak joined Medtronic full-time as an Associate Strategic Sourcing Specialist as part of the company's Supply Management Leadership Development Program. She rotated through several indirect sourcing categories, including marketing, facilities, and professional services.
She subsequently advanced to the role of Strategic Sourcing Specialist, serving as the category lead for Data Services and category specialist for IT Services. In this position, she has achieved approximately $5 million in cost savings and avoidance through supplier negotiations, led numerous requests for proposals for global initiatives, and implemented sourcing best practices across the organization. She also manages supplier relationships and is in charge of a multi-million dollar portfolio.
